Yung Miami Speaks On Diddy Drama
Caresha returned to Revolt on Thursday, August 8, with an emotional debut for her podcast.
The former City Girls rapper discussed her mental health, JT, and her experience dating Diddy with her bestie Saucy Santana.
While speaking with Santana, Yung Miami shared her thoughts on being constantly liked to Diddy’s drama.
“People feel like I was being Diddy’s biggest cheerleader and I made him my brand. And I feel like, Diddy was on brand for me. I got with Diddy and brought him into my life.”
Caresha recalled meeting DIddy during a pivotal time in his life and explained that she shouldn’t be crucified while the world was also celebrating him.
“I met him when he was in the Love era. And I met Diddy when the world was celebrating him and giving him his flowers while he was alive. He was getting the Global Icon Award, the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Key to the city, he had a new album that was coming out, so I was celebrating him with the world. And I just feel like everybody is trying to crucify me for it. But I was just celebrating him when the world was celebrating him.”
Santana later asked Yung Miami why she never commented on the allegations and lawsuits against Diddy.
“I can’t speak on something that wasn’t my experience. And I can’t speak on something I don’t know. I can’t speak on these allegations because I wasn’t around at the time. I don’t know that person and that wasn’t my experience.”
Yung Miami also admitted that ending her relationship with Diddy was painful.
“It really really really hurt me. Puff was a really good person to me. He came and he help me, he elevated me. He saw a lot of things in me. He was able to see more than music in me. And I felt like he brought out another side of me, he brought out my gentle side.”
Caresha also said she decided to focus on herself and her family, letting Diddy handle things on his own.
