If you want the best that SteelSeries has to offer in the PC/PlayStation headset space, but understandably don’t want to pay over $300 for its Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, then you’re in luck. The next best thing is the Arctis Pro Wireless, and it’s $139.99 at Best Buy (was $279.99). This model isn’t like most of the company’s other headsets; instead of having to recharge the entire headset when its battery dies, you simply swap out its battery with an extra that comes in the box, letting the gaming continue on. Each claims to deliver around 20 hours of use, and whichever isn’t in use can be recharged in the included base station.
Speaking of, the Apple TV lookalike base station is another distinguishing feature in that it allows for easy adjustments to sound, plus the ability to flip between audio inputs (you can plug two systems into it). The Arctis Pro Wireless offers Bluetooth connectivity with phones, too, and it can weave tunes, calls, or podcasts into the game mix seamlessly. The base station can be connected to any game console that accepts USB (PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, but not Xbox), or to sources that have an optical audio port.
