The 2024-25 college football season kicks off in earnest this Labor Day weekend, with a whopping 96 games scheduled between Thursday evening and Monday night.

With that, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of every uniform, logo and field change that has taken place across the country this offseason, which we’ve broken down by conference and will share daily over the next few days.

We’ve already covered the ACC, Big Ten, Big XII and SEC, so now we’re moving to the soon-to-be defunct Pac-12 and the few remaining Independent programs. We’ll then circle back with the Group of 5 later this week.

Pac-12

Oregon State

The Beavers unveiled four new uniforms in July, including black home, white road, orange alternate and anthracite alternate designs that feature a consistent striping pattern across the jerseys and pants.

The stripes remain on the shoulders of the jerseys, where they’ve been since the 2019 season, but now include a thick orange stripe down the center surrounded by thinner black and white stripes.

The stripes can also be seen on Oregon State’s white alternate helmet, while the Beavers’ black and orange helmets are stripeless, though the former is now glossy instead of matte.

Meanwhile, the previous set featured a wood-colored road jersey and pants, as well as wood-colored accents on the home black and orange alternate uniforms, but those details are now white on the Beavers’ new set.

Notre Dame

The Fighting Irish made several small changes to their blue home jerseys after updating to Under Armour’s ARMR 037 template, most notably changing the “ND” monogram on the sleeves from white with a gold stroke to gold.

The metallic framis material can also be seen as a stroke around the white numbers to better match Notre Dame’s gold helmets, which are inspired by the dome atop the administration building on campus.

The manufacturer logo also was changed from white to gold and now sits at the base of the collar, whereas the rest of the Fighting Irish’s home uniform remains unchanged.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame announced it will wear its green alternate uniforms against Louisville on Sept. 28. The only change to the green jersey is the Under Armour logo on the collar, which is now white instead of gold.

The Fighting Irish also unveiled their latest Shamrock Series uniforms, which pay homage to the “Four Horsemen” – the nickname given to their 1924 backfield – and will be worn against Army at Yankee Stadium on Nov. 23.

The blue-gray uniforms pull inspiration from the lede in the New York Herald Tribune following their 13-7 win over the Black Knights – known then as the Cadets – at the Polo Grounds in New York.

The gold, gothic-style number font is influenced by the typeface on newspaper mastheads, which – like the “ND” monogram on the sleeves – is beveled and rendered in a shiny gold material.

UMass

The Minutemen unveiled new black alternate uniforms, which follow the same template as their maroon home and white road uniforms with “Massachusetts” across the chest and stripes on the sleeves and pants.

The uniforms were shown with two new helmet designs, as UMass – which is in its last season as an Independent before rejoining the MAC in 2025 – added black facemasks and decals to its existing maroon and white helmets.

This will mark the first time that the Minutemen will wear black uniforms since their 2017 win over Maine at Fenway Park, when they wore black threads with a U.S. flag motif on the shoulders.
