Where to find silk in Black Myth: Wukong

Email :23

Silk is a rare-tier crafting currency in Black Myth: Wukong, and you’ll want to get your hands on as much of it as possible in the early and mid game.

In this Black Myth: Wukong guide, we’ll tell you what you can use silk for and where you can find some.

What is silk in Black Myth: Wukong?

Silk is used to craft rare and epic rarity armor, which can really help elevate your stats in the first few areas of Black Myth: Wukong. How much silk you’ll need depends on the type of armor piece and its rarity. For example, a rare chest piece — typically the most expensive piece to craft in a set, as it holds the most stats — might only cost you two silk (in addition to some other crafting currencies) where an epic hat might cost you four silk.

As you progress out of chapter 2, silk will become a more minor currency, and you’ll find it piling up much like Yarn. It’ll be replaced by — or combined with — even rarer currencies like Cold Iron leaves.

Where can you find silk in Black Myth: Wukong

Silk is supposed to be rare in chapter 1 of Black Myth: Wukong, and while it seems to randomly drop from some bosses like Elder Jinchi — he didn’t drop any for us, but others claim to have gotten some off of him — you can reliably purchase two from the Grand Chamber Shrine Store in the Secret: Ancient Guanyin Temple area.

As you progress into chapter 2, you’ll find more and more sources for silk. Powerful enemies will randomly drop some silk, as will bosses like the Second Prince of Flowing Sands. But, most importantly, you’ll be able to reliably purchase some at the chapter 2 shrines. This trend — being able to purchase rare resources at shrines in each area — will continue as you progress through the game. So be sure to always check the stock and spend your Will on resources like silk when you get the chance.
