The winners of the 70th National Film Awards were announced at the National Media Center in New Delhi on Friday, marking a celebration of the finest of Indian cinema from 2022. The prestigious ceremony, which will take place at a future date, will see the best films from various languages being honoured by the President. The awards recognize films certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022. This year’s jury, led by Chairperson Rahul Rawail for Feature Films, Nila Madhab Panda for Non-Feature Films, and Gangadhar Mudalair for Best Writing in Cinema, highlighted exceptional talents and cinematic achievements.
