Pokémon Go ‘Holiday Part 2’ 2024 event guide

Email :1

Pokémon Go is having the second half of its holiday event (literally called “Holiday Part 2”) from Dec. 22-27, adding more festive Pokémon to the already-long list of costumed critters, alongside some pretty good event bonuses.

All players will be able to get doubled XP from catching Pokémon and 50% more XP from raiding. All Adventure Incense used from Dec. 25 at 9 a.m. until Jan. 5 at 8 p.m. in your local time will also last for double the usual time, which should hopefully help you find some Galarian birds.

There are also some spawns that’ll only show up if you use incense, as well as a paid Timed Research ticket, so this event is full of stuff to do. The “Dual Destiny” Special Research also got an update with this event.

Below, we list all the perks of the Pokémon Go “Holiday Part 2” event, including the paid Timed Research ticket, incense spawns, and Field Research.

Pokémon Go ‘Feeling Sheepish’ paid Timed Research and reward

If you complete this $5 research before the event ends, you’ll get a special reward. Is the paid “Holiday Part 2” Timed Research worth it? Only if you really want the Wooloo jacket cosmetic and more Wooloo in holiday gear. The two incense and single Glacial Lure Module you get from this set can be bought for 260 coins (less than $5 worth), so you should really only grab this if you want the jacket or the Wooloo encounters.

We list the steps for the research below, but make sure to complete them before the event ends on Dec. 27.

‘Feeling Sheepish’ step 1 of 2
