Game Pass November line-up led by Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Xbox Wire has laid out the additions to Game Pass for the first half of November, and the task of keeping the momentum of big day-one releases on the service going after last month’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 falls to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Polygon recently had a chance to take the 2024 edition of the class-leading aviation sim for a test flight and found it stunning. The new game adds a massive career mode exploring many different flight disciplines, as well as challenge and photography modes, improved terrain, and more.

Flight Sim 2024 isn’t the only day-one simulation game to drop on Game Pass in November. It’s preceded on Nov. 7 by Goat Simulator: Remastered, a shiny new reissue of Coffee Stain’s joke sandbox game about being an anarchic ungulate.

It’s a big week for Game Pass all round, as on Tuesday, Nov. 5, subscribers get another day-one release in the form of Metal Slug Tactics, as well as the previously-noted StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection.

As per Microsoft’s new structure for Game Pass subscriptions, all the day-one releases are available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers only, while the StarCraft games join PC Game Pass as well as the Ultimate tier. Console players on the Game Pass Standard tier aren’t forgotten, though. On Wednesday, Nov. 6 they get four games that were previously only available to Ultimate subscribers: Go Mecha Ball, Harold Halibut, The Rewinder, and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank.

Here’s the full rundown of what’s coming to Game Pass in the first half of November:

Game Pass giveth, and Game Pass taketh away. The following games will be leaving the service on Nov. 15:
